Our Team

To support the Awana ministry in your church, we sponsor a number of regional events where your Awana leaders and clubbers can join with other Awana clubs for learning or competitions. Awana is a balanced ministry with events that support both cognitive and physical activities with age-appropriate competitive levels.

Some of our annual Awana activities in this region include...

  • Awana Ministry Conference (Fall)
  • Coaches and Officials Training (Winter)
  • Bible Quiz for Third through Sixth Graders (Winter) [See the BQ Fact Sheet]
  • Sparks-a-Rama and AwanaGames Weekend (Spring) [See the SR/AG Fact Sheet]
  • Dixieland 24/7 Weekend [Bible Quiz and AwanaGames] (Spring) [See the 24/7 Fact Sheet]
Check back periodically because we add fact sheets to further describe each of the events above. These fact sheets are generally posted a few months prior to the event.

Getting Ready for Events - To help every one prepare for the 2009 regional Awana events, we have gathered some prepartion tips to enable you and your club to use our regional events to improve your ministry and challenge your clubbers.

Our 2008-2009 Major Events Calendar for Awana events in the Tennessee Valley is now available. This calendar is updated as necessary to keep up with location and time changes. Also available is the one-page version handed out at the 2008 Awana Ministry Conferences. Please note that we posted the conference calendar for reference only and DO NOT keep it updated as the year progresses. For the most current events, times, and locations, use the web version of our 2008-2009 Major Events Calendar.
